Thank you for visiting our blog! Here you will find many images from previous aswell as more recent wedding photography and portrait photography. After all, we love to share!
Through our love of photography, we get to meet some lovely people, who, after seeing our work, appreciate our style and approach and want us to create amazing pictures of their own very special day. And If our photography wasn't passion enough, our friendly, uncomplicated approach should win you over! pictures taken by friends and family can be wonderful but we like to think we can give a different take on your special day by capturing the joy, laughter and tears through candid moments and the romance of it all, with maybe just a little direction!
Our blog changes often, so please keep visiting us for our latest pictures.
A newborn baby is such a gift of life and for us, a pleaure to be invited to photograph. Our latest portrait session was with Isabelle, a beautiful baby girl, with the most gorgeous eyes and an incredible amount of hair!
While ever-so adorable, Isabelle was a little under the weather and point blank refused to sleep! so unfortunately, our session today did not go quite according to plan. We will be meeting Isabelle again soon and hopeful she will be feeling more like having her picture taken! We did manage to get one picture from our photo session I hope mum and dad will love!
Summer is a great time to get outdoors into the sunshine and do our favourite thing….so we took Hazel and Will up to Rivington for a pre-wedding shoot. We had such a great time with this very lovey dovey couple, that we got carried away photographing them and spent nearly the whole afternoon taking pictures!
Now, some couples are a little nervous in front of the camera but it doesn’t last long before our couples start having a great time. Hazel and Will are fab and they were very relaxed for the whole afternoon! We were able to photograph some great pictures including some intimate moments.
We can’t wait to photograph Hazel and Will’s wedding next week, at the Spread Eagle in Sawley, nr Clitheroe.
Thank you Hazel and Will. We’re so looking forward to photographing your wedding day at the Spread Eagle, Sawley. See you both soon!
Jane and John were married in Glasgow and a few members of their family watched them tie the knot. They arranged to have a party at their home for the rest of their family and friends and we were invited along to take a few informal shots of the party.
It was a lovely and relaxed party and we took the opportunity to get a few candids of all the guests having a good time. We then popped across the road to a nearby park to take a few informl pictures of Jane and John.
We started with a few detail shots of the party set up, including a scrumptous looking individual cake tower.
A few pictures with mum’s and dad’s!
Out in the park with the happy couple!
A few pictures with Jane
Thank you Jane and John. We had a terrific day and special thanks go to John who was very patient…almost enjoying being in front of the camera!
Being photographers we appreciate having the opportunity to help make and share many memorable moments. So it was with great delight that we got to meet Sarah, a soon-to-be mother and photograph her splendid bump!
For our pregnancy shoots we prefer to shoot in our clients home as this helps the session feel relaxed and spontaneous. We met Sarah at her home and our session provided us with a great variety of shoots ranging from a studio like set up with black background for a low key effect. Sarah also wanted to incorporate her home environment to portray a life-style shoot to reflect her surroundings during her pregnancy.
It was a wonderful session and Sarah was very relaxed and a very willing model. We got some great shots from the afternoon. Below are a selection of pictures from the session.
Thank you Sarah for allowing us to photograph such a special time in your life. Hope everything goes well for the birth of your first child….4 weeks and counting! Can’t wait to photograph the new arrival! see you soon.
We took advantage of the brilliant summers day and met our great friend Kate and her two young sons Jack and Ned at Rivington for what was a fun family photo session. We’ve had the opportunity to photograph Kate’s family a number of times now and as a photo shoot should be, each one is different and always such great fun!
For our latest session, Kate wanted more pictures of Ned and liked the idea of a picture amongst bluebells and we knew just the place! Ned is just over 1yrs old and really is growing up fast, very independent on his feet and does he know it!!
Here are a few of our favourite pictures from the afternoon….hope you enjoy them!
Meet Jack….such a lovely boy, he had a great time posing for some pictures but an ice creamed beckoned after a while!
Meet the adorable little independent Mr Ned!
some pics of mum Kate!
Thank you Kate, Jack and Ned….we had a brilliant afternoon and got some great shots! Looking forward to meeting up again soon!
July 5, 2010 - 8:16 pmKate - Thank you for taking such amazing pictures of Jack and Ned. It was a lovely day in Rivington and although it was very hot, the boys managed to keep smiling and playing in the grass. We are going to have 2 big canvases made for the kids play room.... they will look FAB!!! Thanks again, kate x
Summer itself evokes a joyous feeling… a warm sunny day, a cool breeze, ambient laughter in the background and a sense of harmony. That is what we experienced at Claire and Danny’s wedding day at Walmsley Church followed by the reception at Egerton House Hotel. Claire and Danny are a fantastic couple who absolutely adore each other, so friendly and full of fun and enjoying every minute!
We got to photograph such a brilliant day…great company, great atmosphere and such a pleasure. Thank you Claire and Danny for sharing your special day with us.
Here are some shots from the wedding day and we hope you enjoy the pictures. Part two to follow so stay tuned!
Hope you enjoyed these pictures as much as we did taking them. Part two coming soon!
We met up with Claire and Danny again at Walmsley Church, this time for their wedding reheasal. We were pleased to be invited along as this helps us scout the church and meet with the vicar and best of all we get to photograph Claire and Danny again before their wedding day!
Here are just a few shots from their wedding rehearsal. See you both soon for the main event!
From first meeting Jo and Tim and spending time together on their pre-wedding shoot, we knew the wedding day at the Last Drop Village in Bolton would be a lot of fun, relaxed and very welcoming and sure enough they didn’t dissapoint!
We spent most of the time indoors due to the wet weather but that didn’t dampden the spirits on this special day and we still managed to get everyone smiling and Jo and Tim on their own for a short time. Thank you Jo and Tim…we had a great time spending the day with you and your family and friends.
You can view Jo & Tim’s wedding day as a slideshow below….enjoy!
Here are some of the pictures from a brilliant day!
With a beautiful location such as Rivington, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to photograph Claire and Danny and their new dog Lofty on such a gorgeous sunny day! To get away from the noise of the bikers which were affecting Lofty, we decided to head off to somewhere a little quieter with the promise of photographic delights that make this location such a popular option for a fun and relaxed photo session.
We had a great afternoon with the lovely Claire and Danny and I made a new best friend…their dog Lofty! I hope you enjoy the pictures!
Thank you Claire and Danny for a brilliant afternoon….and of course my new best pal Lofty!
